Melanistic Biot.
This is a rather subtle feather pin which is made up of melanistic and hen flank feathers.
The Melanistic on its own tends to look darker than it actually is. The lighter hen pheasant complements the Blue,green, black of the melanistic, which in some light is rather irredescent.
Approximately 6 inches tall and set in a copper cone base.
