All my products are hand crafted in my workshop just outside the village of Monymusk, Aberdeenshire in Scotland. Originally, the Bevelled Glass designs were created whilst living in South Africa with my inspiration coming from year round sunshine that creates the most beautiful rainbow effect when shining through the bevelled glass. I have lived in Scotland for 8 years now, and have been drawn by the abundance of natural feathers, especially the Scottish Pheasant. I believe I have found the correct medium to display the "feather" at it's best to ensure it is enjoyed by all. All my feathered pins are made in Scotland, mostly with Scottish Feathers. Recently I have added my own hat designs. The woo-hat is a double layer beret style seamless brim hat especially designed to accommodate a feather hat pin. Textiles used here are generally tweeds and tartans for the fuller texture. Following this is the Wooberry, this is a single beret on a seamless brim. These are fun hats and made with a varied selection of textiles. And finally .... for this year anyway, is the Scarf hat.- The scarf-hat is essentially a peak with a scarf, gives full sun protection even on the back of the neck. These are made predominantly with cotton fabrics and anything goes from tartans to brightly coloured cloth with feathers.
